How to store dry fruits so they stay fresh
Nuts and dry fruits are natural products, so how you store them at home matters as much as how you buy them. A few simple habits help them stay crunchy and tasty for longer.
Keep them airtight
Once you open a pack, move the nuts into a clean, dry, airtight container. Air and moisture are the biggest reasons nuts turn soft or stale.
Cool, dry and dark
Store the container away from direct sunlight, the stove and the sink. A cool, dry kitchen shelf or cupboard works well for everyday use.
Use a dry spoon
Always take nuts out with a dry spoon or clean, dry hands. Even a little moisture can spoil a whole container.
Buy in sizes you will finish
Smaller packs, like our 200 g size, are easier to finish while the nuts are at their best. Check the storage guidance printed on your pack for the best advice on that product.
